Not too bad of a goal for Ville Leino. This was his 1st NHL Game/1st NHL Shot/1st NHL Goal! It might have even been his 1st NHL shift too.
Not many players can say they had a highlight reel goal for their “1st”
But….Ovechkin stole the show and won the game with the final two goals to lift the Capitals over the Red Wings 4-2.
