If you look two posts down I wrote about how impressed with the New York Rangers defense I am/was. Well I must have jinxed them. Marc Staal and Dan Girardi who are usually money for the Rangers were -4 tonight vs Kovalchuk the Atlanta Thrashers!
Prior to this colossal loss to Kovalchuk the Thrashers, the Rangers have won 9 of 12 and have been playing very well. Many might argue that if Henrik Lundqvist was in net, the result may have been different, but either way, the Rangers blew a commanding lead to one of the worst teams in the NHL.
Not good for the Rangers with only a few games left until the Playoffs start.
So anyone who wants to say “I Told You So” is welcome to…..
