Although I would absolutely love to see the Hawks win the series and advance, I just really do not believe it is possible. Their only hope is to get to Chris Osgood and pepper shots on, but it just simply isn’t possible with the amazing Red Wing defense as well as all of their offensive players who come back to help.
On to Game 1….50 minutes of domination from the Red Wings. The first ten minutes; the Blackhawks caught the Wings off guard, but still outside of the lucky Burish goal, did not generate much of a threatening offense. After that the Wings completely destroyed the Hawks. They had 40+ shots and an another 40+ shots that didn’t hit the net or were blocked. That is 80+ potential opportunities. I can’t see the Hawks winning a game if they keep letting this happen.
