First thing first i have to come to Jagrs defense here as a long time fan of his and native pens fan at the time of his “I am dieing in pittsburgh” they had been through alot including alot of trades that left the pens big offense being sent to other teams along with mario retirement and a new coach who coached a defensive style hockey and alot of clutch and grab boring hockey i really think if you look at those years we where all being killed inside jagr had no offensive help lack of plays to make and no one to pass to he had to carry the team on his back but it was not the flashy fun pens it became the clutch and grab pens in dull low energy grinding games and that is not jagrs style so anyone who says that we where not dieing in pittsburgh was a fool we where fortunate to have such a star powered offense and to see so many all stars on our team was golden… so do not put this on jagr he was merely a victim of changing times in pgh and yes it was hard to let him go to washington but the days of the stanley cup 90s pens where gone… jagr was never a locker room desaster in pgh he simply stated the truth and was hated for saying what we all knew was true… may i remind you how many stanley cups we won let alone playoffs we went to until we had crosby malkin and mario for a breif time come out of retirement… i will always look up to my pittsburgh hockey heros in jagr mario coffey and francis just to name a few… but most of all 68 and 66 there was nothing like those to on the ice together and i for one would love to see jagr comeback and play for the pens because he is one of the greatest players of all time!!!

There would be three numbers up there,
Mario, and Michel Briere (21) are the two the pens have….

Jags will never return to the penguins, he has a reputation of being a negative force in the locker room and that is the last thing the pens need right now…
