  1. Abi Reid says:

    where’s crosby? P.S. Ovechkin sucks!

  2. Bruno Bernardo says:

Why Lemieux is always on top in these ranks ? I like him, but sounds like too boring, he wasn’t the best ever, just a good player in my opinion…light years behind Gretzky and Orr.

  3. Kyle says:

Dude Lemieux was a animal with the puck. He had more skill than Gretzky, but Orr could’ve been number 1 also. Good picks though. Ovechkin, Crosby could be in there in the future.

  4. Trevor says:

Lemieux is always on top because he deserves to be on top. This is the top 10 most skills players not greatest hockey players, Gretzky was good because of his knowledge of the game.

  5. Eva says:

I can’t recall anybody ever referring to Kovalev as the great Alex Kovalev, while Peter Forsberg is routinely called “the great Peter Forsberg” or “Peter the great” on TV by hockey professionals.

  6. Anthony says:

Did that guy just say AO sucks and ask why sid is not on the list…. WOW… I hate hockey fans who know nothing

  7. Christian says:

    Wait a mintute.

Ak-27? How in the sweet loving heck is Kovalev on this list. I almost have issues with Bure. But I’ll acknowledge this says skills. So how is Alex Kovalev here, and Nicklas Lidstrom not? or Teemu Selanne?

Serious? Teemu Selanne isn’t even in contention here, but Alex Kovalev, a man who has consistently failed year after year to live up to any expectations, and has produced at even point per game only three times in his career? And I’m pretty sure in his highest scoring season he was playing with Jagr, AND Lemieux. Matt Carkner could look amazing on a line with Jagr and Lemieux.

How does Ak-27 Beat out the ‘Finnish Flash’ and a man so good they nicknamed him ‘Norris’ after the trophy he keeps winning.

  8. Dan says:

This is the most pathetic, least credible site I have ever come across. I assume it is run by a 14 year old sitting in his basement watching sports center and YouTube clips. This site and list is a crime to the hockey world.

  9. Junior says:

Ummm …. First off this list makes sense. Skilled players doesn’t mean the best players. Crosby has skill i admit that but it is his hockey sense that makes him the great player he is. In that sense Kovalev who may not be the greatest player is one of most skilled players to ever play. Have you ever seen Kovalev stick handle ? He can move his hands at like 60mph man it’s incredible

  10. Lila says:

WTF is greztky and crosbt!!!!!! Thank god ovechchkin is not on this list. If he is on any list it would worst player’s ever existed!

  11. phil says:

no lafleur no igor larianov no yarri kurri all better than kovelev

  12. phil says:

    missing sergie federov and kharlomov

  13. Anonymous says:

i agree with phil, but you other people are idiot, what part of SKILLED dont you understand? kovalev DOES deserve to be there

  14. jamie says:

gretzky was way better then anybody

  15. Alex says:

Good list. Jagr should be higher, and AK-27 maybe a bit lower.

  16. Walker says:

Im just surprised Peter Forsberg is not on the top 10…

  17. james says:

Good list over all guys, i thought that datsyuk could be a little higher but thats about it. And all the people that dont know what skilled means and think that AK27 shouldnt be on the list have clearly never played the game and know nothing about

  18. centre44 says:

Perreault was a genius and a true innovator. He inspired Gretz and Lemiuex. No one can skate through an entire team any more. Perreault used to do it every night. He was pure, creative skill, honed on outdoor rinks not automated coaching clinics! There will never be another like him. Long live GIL PERREAULT!!!!
